A unique Grade 2 Listed town house with spectacular views over the River Tweed, step out the front door onto the Elizabethan town walls and look out over the river. Follow the walls around the corner, passing the traditional barracks, museum, art gallery, golf course and towards the beach or wander through the quaint side streets at the back of the house and within three minutes you will be in the centre of Berwick, with a choice of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops.

On your way back from town, look along Bridge Street at the boutiques, gallery and famous green shop or stop for morning coffee before following the Lowry Trail around the town, spotting the views made famous in the artist's paintings.

Berwick-upon-Tweed enjoys easy access from the A1 and is only an hour from Edinburgh or Newcastle, using the frequently served main east coast line train station which is 15 minutes walk away. Only 20 minutes drive away are some of the most stunning of all the Northumbrian Castles, not to be missed is a trip to Holy Island (see Holy Island Crossing Times ), the spectacular Bamburgh Castle, or a trip to the Farne Islands.

Front door access to level 2, from the pedestrianised old town walls opening into a large spacious drawing room with views over the walls to the Tweed Estuary. Furnishings include three sofas, remote controlled electric fire in marble surround, TV, DVD player & discs, binoculars, books and games, including chess set.

The main ground floor access is from the rear enclosed yard through into sun lounge with sofa and dog bed.

Large open plan kitchen with stripped wooden floor boards, electric cooker, gas hob in central counter, fridge, dishwasher, table and four chairs. Separate WC and wash hand basin, washing machine and drying line.

Large atmospheric beamed dining room with polished teak dining table, feature decorative fireplace and CD player.

Stairs to Drawing Room and front door level.
