Holiday Cottage - The Forge - Near Newton, Seahouses and Beadnell

A deceptively spacious stone studio/bed-sit situated in a small grassed garden at the rear of The Smithy.

The Forge can be booked with The Smithy which sleeps five.

Part of a farm steading conversion with great character, surrounded by open farmland, The Forge offers a small escape for two.

Within 10 minutes' drive you can find yourself walking the sands at Newton beach, visiting the local bird sanctuary, sipping a pint in picturesque Newton or heading north to Beadnell which boasts a village shop/post office, choice of public houses and hotels and is only minutes to the beach and harbour.

A few miles up the coast is Bamburgh, home to the historic Bamburgh Castle and a fantastic beach, or you may wish to visit the Farne Islands, only a wee boat trip from Seahouses harbour.

For the energetic in the party try the nearby Dunstanburgh Castle golf links at Embleton or wander the miles of public footpaths taking you to villages and beaches along this Heritage Coastline.

Holiday Cottage - Studio Apartment

Access to the cottage is via a pebbled path with small step up through front door into the large airy room which combines living, bedroom and kitchen areas with original beamed ceiling, a large feature mirror on one side of the room and on another a window overlooking the garden.

The compact kitchen area includes microwave, two-ring free standing hob, fitted cupboards, larder fridge and enough cooking utensils for a cooked breakfast.

The living area has a sofa as well as dining table and chairs, TV, DVD, selection of games and books and a large coffee table.

Holiday Cottage - Studio Apartment

A double bed is towards the side of the room facing the separate modern fitted bathroom, with shower over bath, wash hand basin, WC, heated towel rail and fitted cupboard with hanging rail and shelf storage.

Heating is by electric radiator and this, together with bed linen and towels, is included in the rent.

Cot and highchair available on request.

Private allocated parking in front of The Forge.

Grassed garden area with garden furniture.

Dogs are welcome at the property (maximum 1 dog).
