A contemporary three-storey townhouse, one of only three built next to the old Victorian school, with views over the roof tops to the Tweed Estuary, Berwick and Halidon Hill beyond, Edward House, which offers a ground floor bedroom, is located in a quiet residential conservation area.

A few minutes' walk away is a choice of local shops, the Tower House Pottery, Leisure Centre and the Tweed Estuary. Follow the 'Lowry Trail' by foot over the Old Bridge to Berwick with its delightful Georgian houses, Elizabethan ramparts and quay walls or southwards for a 20 minute stroll to the sandy Beach at Spittal.

Berwick lies on the main east coast train line to London and is only a 45 minute journey to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh - for a day out visit the cobbled Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle or one of the many museums or art galleries.

Half an hour away by car takes you to the many castles and beaches of the famous Northumbrian Heritage Coastline including Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and the Farne Islands, which can be reached by boat from Seahouses - all within the Berwick area.
