Particularly recommended is a visit to the local Percy Arms in Chatton, why not call for a meal on the way home from day trip seeing the atmospheric Chillingham Castle, reputed to be the most haunted Castle in England, the cup and ring marked stones on Chatton Park Hill or the unique Wild White Cattle all of which are close at hand. Wooler, the gateway to the Cheviot Hills and The Northumberland National Park lies ten minutes away. Chatton is ideally placed between the hills and the Coast with Bamburgh Castle and Beach being within a twenty minute drive and Alnwick with its magical Castle and famous Gardens less than 30 minutes away. A truly classic country cottage !

Chatton does not have Mobile Phone Coverage so there is a phone available in Apple Tree Cottage.
