Riverview Mews (or Sealladh na h-aimhne in Gaelic) is reached by private road between picturesque Berwick Upon Tweed, with its Georgian Houses, Ramparts and 17thC Bridge across the Tweed and the small village of Chirnside, offering an escape to an idyllic countryside location with all the modern conveniences of a luxury house. Riverview Mews is located, just over the border in Scotland, within eight miles of Berwick, on the site of an Old Grain Mill. The Mill Race still runs in front of the properties and leads back down to the river. Herons, Swans, Otters and Local Wildlife can be watched from the balconies or stroll along the riverside walks to appreciate nature closer to hand. A few miles away is the famous Coast at St Abbs Head with its Nature Reserve, Diving Centre and Cliff Top Walks. Within five miles are both Ayton Castle and Chainbridge with its local Honey Farm and of course a choice of Local Pubs and Restaurants, particularly recommended is a visit to the nearby Allanton Inn. Why not call in for a meal on the way home after a day trip visiting The Hirsel at Coldstream, a day at Kelso Races or the Impressive Floors Castle and the Cashmere Shops of The Border Towns ?
