Willow Cottage was completely refurbished to a very high standard in early 2007 and has a warm spacious atmosphere with local artwork displayed throughout the cottage. The Owner, a local artist, has her studio gallery at the rear of the property and along with her husband has made the log cabin into a cosy retreat for two.

Lowick is ideally placed only ten minutes drive from the dramatic Northumbrian Coastline and the Causeway at Holy Island, where you can trace the roots of Christianity in Britain. Close at hand are the un-missable villages of Ford and Etal with quaint cottages, working water mill, light railway and the only thatched pub in Northumberland, The Black Bull, definitely worth a visit.

Lowick is only 30 minutes from Alnwick, home to The Duke of Northumberland at Alnwick Castle and the much talked about Alnwick Gardens. Just 15 minutes northwards is the historic town of Berwick Upon Tweed with its famous vistas, castle walls and salmon fishing.
