An immaculate modern house set in a quiet corner of this popular village. Brightfield overlooks a grassed oval green to the front and open fields to the rear. South facing, the secluded garden is landscaped with honey-coloured stone and planted with lavender. Enjoy its peace and calm from the patio or raised decking. The house has a bright and welcoming atmosphere and is tastefully decorated with items by a variety of local artists.

The village of Shilbottle is set in open countryside above Alnwick and Warkworth with panoramic views towards the sea. The house is within easy walking distance of the Farriers Arms pub, a post office and two local shops.

Only a few minutes by car will take you to the market town of Alnwick with a variety of shops and good choice of pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. Alnwick Castle, as well as being home to the present Duke of Northumberland, was more recently made famous by being used as Hogwarts for the first two Harry Potter films. The Castle is well worth a visit, as is Alnwick Garden - take a step into one of the most original and contempory gardens in the world with its enormous Tree House and don't miss out on the storytelling trip in the Poison Garden! Alnwick is also home to the renowned Barter Books which is one of the largest secondhand bookshops in Europe, so you are sure to find your ideal holiday read.

Small step up to the front door leading into a tiled entrance hall.

There is a cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin and also an understairs cupboard.

The sitting room has a two-seater sofa, two sling chairs, TV with Freeview box, DVD player, games and books, metal mesh dining table and four chairs.

French doors lead out to the patio and landscaped enclosed garden with raised decked seating area - on sunny days the owners invite you to move the table outside, put up the parasol and have breakfast in the garden.

The modern kitchen is fitted with electric oven, hob and extractor hood, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge with ice box.

There is a back door with step down to patio.
