A real treat!

This spacious detached house provides comfort for everyone. The house, often used by the owners themselves, has been lovingly furnished to a high standard - offering practicality with a bit of luxury thrown in.

Ocean View is within easy walking distance of Seahouses Harbour, where the boat trips to The Farne Islands can be boarded or walk the sandy beaches for two glorious miles up to Bamburgh with the dramatic Bamburgh Castle, choice of pubs, coffee shops and tea rooms and views to Holy Island.

A visit is not complete without sampling the local fish from Swallows Fish, Coxon's Ice Cream and The Farne Gift Shop - all local traditions of Seahouses!

Holiday Cottage - Accommodation

All ground floor rooms have wooden flooring, all first floor bedrooms are carpeted and first floor bathrooms are tiled.

Front door access to the entrance hall with a coat cupboard.

The large front to back sitting room has a feature fireplace with electric fire, large decorative rug and patio doors out to the rear grassed garden. Relax on the large leather sofas, chairs and footstools with TV and digi-box, video and DVD player and a selection of videos and DVDs.

A connecting door leads to a separate dining room with seating for eight.

The large kitchen, which has views towards Bamburgh Castle, is fitted with Shaker-style wooden kitchen units, double electric fan-assisted oven with halogen hob and extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and includes a breakfast table and chairs for 4. There is a separate utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and cupboards.

A rear door gives access to the garden and there is an internal door to the garage.

Separate downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin.

Holiday Cottage - Upstairs

Stairs up to gallery landing.

First Floor:

Bedroom 1 - king size bed, views to coast, en-suite shower room with WC and wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2 - double bed, views to the coast.

Bedroom 3 - double bedroom. Bedroom 4 - twin bedroom.

Space for cot in all bedrooms. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes.

Family bathroom with electric shower over bath, WC, wash hand basin, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Enclosed grassed garden around the house, paved patio area outside patio doors leading from sitting room with garden furniture including six seater dining table and chairs with cushions and parasol. To enjoy outdoor dining a BBQ is also available.

Ample parking for at least three cars on the gated drive.

Cycle store available.

Beach 2 minutes walk away.

Cot and high chair available on request.

Dogs are welcome at the property (2 dogs maximum).
