Or follow St Cuthbert's Way Long Distance Footpath and explore St Cuthbert's Cave, picnic at the top enjoying the view. For the not so fit drive along The Devil's Causway Roman Road and circle back to visit Chillingham with it's atmospheric Castle, Wild White Cattle, perhaps followed by a meal at the Percy Arms at Chatton on your way home !
