A spacious single storey, semi detached cottage in the quiet village of Lowick.

The cottage has been completely refurbished and carefully thought out to provide a high standard of accommodation. Northcote benefits from under-floor heating and each bedroom has en suite facilities, with the added touch of bath robes, for use during your stay.

Northcote Cottage is ideally placed, ½ hour to Alnwick and just 15 minutes outside the historic town of Berwick Upon Tweed with its famous vistas, castle walls and salmon fishing.

Locally, Lowick has a small shop and pub.

The causeway to Holy Island lies within 10 minutes' drive and can be crossed safely, subject to Holy Island Crossing Times, to reveal the hidden delights, history and unique atmosphere of Lindisfarne.

Close at hand are many country walks, St Cuthbert's Cave, Kyloe Woods and a selection of coastal golf courses, why not "pay and play" at Goswick or take a trip on Heatherslaw Light Railway, stocking up en-route with supplies from Heatherslaw Mill.

Ramp up to the front door which leads into a large sitting room with log-burning stove. Relax with sofas, chairs, occasional tables, TV, video player and a selection of videos.

Double doors open through to a spacious farmhouse-style kitchen with large dining table, chairs, electric double oven with ceramic halogen hob and extractor hood, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, CD/radio cassette player, games cupboard and portable TV.

Holiday Cottage - Ground Floor Bedrooms

Bedroom 1: double bed with metal bedframe, large wardrobe and dressing table, en-suite shower room with double shower, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2: two single beds, 2 double pine wardrobes, dressing table, 2 chests of drawers, 2 chairs, en-suite bathroom with bath, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

Boiler room with airing rail, WC and wash hand basin.

Off the kitchen is the rear porch, providing a seating area for two.

Small enclosed rear garden with paved patio and garden furniture.

Ample on-street parking at the front of the property.

Heating, electricity, initial supply of fuel for the stove, bed linen and towels included.

Children are welcome, however cot and high chair are not provided.

Dogs are welcome at the property (maximum of 2 dogs). A dog bed is provided.
