The Causway to Holy Island, lies within ten minutes drive and can be crossed safely, at low tide, to reveal the hidden delights, history and unique atmosphere of Lindesfarne.

Also close at hand are the many country walks, St. Cuthbert's Cave, Kyloe Woods and a selection of Coastal Golf Courses, why not "Pay and Play" at Goswick or take a trip on Heatherslaw Light Railway, stocking up en route with supplies from Heatherslaw Mill.
