A recently renovated farm cottage situated on one of The Duke of Northumberland's tenanted farms (look out for his crest above the front door). The cottage faces southwards on the edge of the village of Warenford and has views, across open countryside. Three Quarters of a mile of Fishing Available in the stream - 5 minutes walk away - Salmon and Trout have been caught in the past - why not have a go ... Warenford itself is only 5 miles from the golden beaches at Bamburgh and makes an ideal base for touring the area with easy access to the A1 The cottage is within half an hour of the magnificent island of Lindisfarne, Budle Bay nature reserve, the Farne Islands, and the Northumbria National Park. Alnwick is the nearest market town only 8 miles away with its famous Gardens and Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The White Swan, the Local Pub is 200 yards away, a well stocked garage shop is one and a half miles. Or for evening meals visit the Pack Horse Inn at Ellingham which serves yummy food in an intimate atmosphere. All this dining could be worked off the next day with a hike up to nearby Ros Castle with it's spectacular views up and down the coast and into Scotland - on a clear day one of the best views of Northumberland. Open plan kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave. Dining table and chairs.

Bedroom 2: Two single beds. Wardrobe with full length mirror. Views over open countryside.
Bedroom 3: Two single beds. Built in Cupboard.
Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside
Gas fired central heating - downstairs only. Gas, electricity, bed linen and towels all included.
To the front is a very small grass garden. Off road parking to the rear.
Dogs welcome. Short breaks are available by arrangement.
Horses can often be watched at grass in front of the cottage.
Within minutes of the property are a number of farmland footpaths and a lane down to the Waren Burn. Three Quarters of a mile of fishing is available - rods are not provided but you are welcome to have a go and try your luck.
