An immaculate refurbished end terrace house, sitting in the small quiet hamlet of Horncliffe. If you are looking for a holiday where you can get away from it all but still be able to access a multitude of diversions, this is the one for you! There is an enclosed garden on three sides enabling you to perhaps enjoy a private breakfast or coffee whilst planning your day out. Within ten minutes you can be in the historic border town of Berwick with its famous walls and ramparts. Take a circular walk around the walls and you will pass the regimental barracks with historical museum and art gallery which is well worth a visit. Ford and Etal villages just a short distance away from Horncliffe are another must! A working Water Mill, light railway and the unusual sight in Northumberland of a thatched pub, all await you. A day well spent would be to explore the wonderful coastline, a short drive will take you to Holy Island causeway (check Holy Island Crossing Times) where you could visit Lindisfarne Priory and Lindisfarne Castle. Returning to Horncliffe you may wish to stop off at the local pub - The Fishers Arms and end the day with a good meal. Holiday Cottage - Facilities

Holiday Cottage - DownstairsStep up to front door leading into a hall. To the left enter sitting room, a light room with two windows with blinds, two radiators and an electric fire. Sideboard and seating for four, flat screen TV/DVD, radio/CD player, games and books. Views to the gardens. Along the hall takes you into a well fitted kitchen, with a new wood effect floor. Electric cooker, fridge with ice box, washing machine and iron and ironing board. There is a dining area with table and five chairs and a door leading to the rear garden. Two steps take you down to an enclosed garden with a small terrace, grass, table and chairs and a playhouse for the use of any small guests. The tiled hall has a cupboard which houses a hoover etc. Holiday Cottage - UpstairsStairs up to a small landing. Bedroom 2: Bunk beds, the lower bed being a very comfortable double, bedside table, fitted wardrobes, radiator and window with views to the rear garden. Family bathroom with bath, over bath shower, wash hand basin and WC. There is a radiator and shelving.
