Longlands Retreat is without doubt your definitive 'get away from it all' holiday hideaway. It's hard to believe that this immaculate property set in a very quiet residential street, is only a short walk away from the sea and Beadnell Harbour. With a fully enclosed private garden and the bonus of a snug (for those times you want a moment away from children) everything you could wish for, to have an easy relaxed holiday. Beadnell has a great deal to offer, from coastal walks, to exploring off shore wrecks by diving, other water sports on offer include surfing, sailing and canoeing. Miles of open sandy beaches in both directions, a quaint harbour - popular with divers and sailors and wonderful seaside atmosphere. Although you will find much to keep you occupied in the village, you may wish to take advantage of one of several excellent links golf courses within easy reach. A short drive north and you could take a boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands, a renowned nature reserve, and see the seal population. Further again and you will come upon the village of Bamburgh with its fantastic beach, award winning butcher and the historic Bamburgh Castle. Back to 'base' where Beadnell offers restaurants, pubs, a take-away and a post office / shop, all on your doorstep. Holiday Cottage - Facilities

Holiday Cottage - Single-Storey AccommodationEntering from the front garden into a light hallway, on into the sitting room. This is a pleasant room with a large window overlooking the front garden. With ample seating, coffee table, telephone table, bookcase, Freeview TV, DVD, docking station and Wi-Fi connection. There is a rug and electric fire for a cosy feel on inclement evenings plus radiator. Books, games and plenty of tourist information. The fully fitted modern kitchen has a dining area with a table and six chairs. There is also a breakfast bar/table with two chairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/dryer, full-size fridge/freezer, electric cooker, coffee maker, docking station/radio and radiator. The half-glazed door leads to the garden and there are two windows with views to the side and rear garden. Two steps down from the kitchen take you into the snug (which can also be accessed by a door leading from the front drive, making it totally self-contained, a big plus), with its own TV with in-built DVD player, PlayStation, sofa, bookcase with games etc. and a boot rack. This room has the advantage of having a super king size bed which can alternatively, on request, be made up as 2 single beds. The room also has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, cheval mirror and bedside tables. Bedroom 2: another room overlooking the rear garden. Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, wall lights, cheval mirror and radiator. Bedroom 3: with views to the front garden. Bunk beds, bedside table, two chests of drawers. Family bathroom with tiled effect floor, bath with over-bath shower, wash hand basin, WC, window, mirror and radiator.
