     A beautifully presented, large, light, semi-detached bungalow in the small village of High Newton. With a choice of dining in the large farmhouse style kitchen or the separate dining room on the polished wooden table an ideal opportunity for sharing a bottle of wine and a meal while discussing memories of the day. Gardens to front, and rear with a large 'sun trap' patio. Although only a few minutes walk from several sandy beaches with protected sand dunes, you could also be in the heart of the countryside with lovely trees and vegetation. Birds and wildlife are always visible in the surrounding fields and from the hide at Newton Pond Nature Reserve. The village boasts a pub, a rural bus route, post box and although a popular location even in high season, it is very civilised! Only 20 minutes drive from Alnwick, home to the Duke of Northumberland, visit Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden, and the famous Barter Books second hand bookshop. Or you may wish to spend a day exploring the many walks including a coastal path which will take you to Dunstanburgh Castle and on to Craster - a renowned fishing village. Holiday Cottage - Accommodation Small step up into the entrance porch and through to a large welcoming hall with storage heater. Cloakroom with WC, wash hand basin, hanging space for outdoor garments. Glazed doors lead from the hall to the sitting room which is furnished with occasional tables, two sofas and easy chairs. There is an electric fire and three storage heaters, Sky TV, and DVD player. As in all rooms, curios, pictures and mirrors abound, making it a real home from home!! Further glazed doors lead from sitting room down one step into a formal dining room with large table and chairs, sofa and doors to patio. The large fitted dining kitchen has dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave and gas hob. At the dining end is a large table and chairs, sofa and easy chairs, TV, bookshelves and a wood burning stove. Glazed doors lead out onto Down one step from the kitchen into the utility room housing washer, dryer, two fridges, two freezers and sink, with window to rear garden.
