Holiday Cottage - Holburn Mill - St.Cuthbert's Cave, Belford and Wooler

A detached single-storey stone cottage, sympathetically converted from buildings adjacent to Grade 2 Listed Holburn Mill.

Set in a secluded quiet location with access to the mill over a private bridge, the cottage offers a unique opportunity to relax and enjoy seven acres of grassland with stream running through and an abundance of wildlife.

Holburn Mill has easy access to the coast and the village of Belford with its pubs, shops, hotel and gallery. A six mile drive will take you to Holy Island's tidal Causeway and, subject to the Holy Island Crossing Times, on to the Island to soak up the atmosphere of Lindisfarne Castle and Priory.

Travel 15 minutes further south and you will find yourself at the historic Bamburgh Castle, overlooking arguably the best beach in Britain! If you wish for some serious walking 20 minutes drive, with spectacular views, from Holburn will bring you to Wooler the gateway of the Cheviot Hills.

Holiday Cottage - Accommodation

Level access through the front entrance into a kitchen/diner with beamed ceiling and equipped with electric double-oven cooker, extractor hood, microwave, larder fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, ceiling pulley airing line, table and chairs.

Through to the bathroom, also with beamed ceiling. There is a bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC, tiled floor, two radiators and heated towel rail.

Also off the kitchen is a light spacious sitting room with wood burning stove and radiator. The room has a tiled floor and rug, TV, Freeview, DVD player, CD player and radio, books, games and DVDs. There is a large tilt window and a door with steps down to a private quiet garden.

Holiday Cottage - Ground Floor Bedroom

One step up to bedroom: King size bed, built in wardrobe, large tilt window, beamed ceiling and tiled floor with bedside rugs.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

Oil-fired central heating, electricity, wood, bed linen and towels all included.

Small private garden with garden furniture and stream running through.

Private off road parking over the bridge less than 50 yards from the cottage.
