Holiday Cottage - Harvest Home - Near Seahouses, Seahouses and Beadnell

In a tranquil setting, catching the sun from every direction, Harvest Home is a two storey barn conversion, situated with three other properties on a private lane within three miles of the coast at Seahouses.

A haven for wildlife, with stream and ponds, take a morning stroll along the lanes and listen to the birds or wander down to Northumberland Wildlife Trust's Fleetham Reserve where frequently heron, coot and kingfishers are spotted.

After breakfast on the patio, follow the country lanes north to Bamburgh with its famous Bamburgh Castle, beaches and quaint village atmosphere or take a trip on one of the boats (see Billy Shiels ) out to the National Trust's Farne Islands from the harbour at Seahouses.

Holiday Cottage - Accommodation

Access to property is to rear of cottage through an entrance porch.

Sitting room with plenty of natural light from floor to ceiling arched windows and French doors leading out to patio area, wood beams, wood-burning stove, sofa and chairs, occasional tables,standard reading lamp, bookshelves, TV, DVD player, maps, books, tourist information, walking guides and games for all to enjoy.

Kitchen/diner, also with floor to ceiling arched windows, has electric cooker, fridge with ice box, free standing washing machine, microwave, small pine table and chairs with matching Welsh dresser, views over the gardens to front and back.

Holiday Cottage - Bedrooms

Open wooden staircase leads from sitting room up to first floor landing.

Newly fitted family bathroom with hot water shower over bath, WC. wash hand basin, shaver point and night storage heater.

Bedroom 1: beamed room with double bed and single bed, stripped and varnished wooden floor with rugs, free-standing wardrobe, 2 chairs, wash hand basin, night storage heater, attractive views to front and rear over the gardens.

Bedroom 2: beamed room with twin beds, wardrobe with children's games in the bottom drawer,chest of drawers, small wicker chair, night storage heater.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

A wooden cot is available for use.

Heating, electricity and bed linen are all included. Regret towels not provided.

Garden to the front with patio area and large shared lawns to play on to the rear of the cottage. Ample parking for two cars on the shared drive.

Children are very welcome - but please note there are ponds in the gardens.
