A horseshoe-shaped, single storey barn conversion with privacy!

Glebe Court lies on the outskirts of Ellingham, an attractive, quiet village between Alnwick and the coast.

The nearest beach, five miles away at Beadnell, is a centre for holiday activity with a choice of hotels, pubs, convenience shop, post office and in low season miles of virtually deserted golden beaches.

Two miles further up the coast from Beadnell is Seahouses, where regular boat trips sail to the nearby Farne Islands to see wildlife, or walk from Beadnell along the footpaths taking you up and down the coastline with impressive castles including the famous Bamburgh Castle, breath taking views, sandy beaches and a warm welcome.

Ellingham with its quaint church, stone cottages, chain of footpaths and country pub within 3 minutes' walk, provides a relaxing backdrop to a touring holiday around Northumberland.

Holiday Cottage - Accommodation

A private archway leads into the gravelled parking area with a patio and path to the front door.

Step up into a small entrance hall.

Enjoy views over the fields from a generous sized sitting room with wood burning stove, two sofas, additional chairs, TV with digi-box, DVD, magazines and books.

The farmhouse-style kitchen with windows overlooking the patio, has an oil-fired Stanley providing heating and atmosphere. Dine at the aged pine table and chairs but also benefit from the convenience of the dishwasher, microwave, double electric oven with ceramic hob, extractor hood, larder fridge and freezer.

There is a utility/cloakroom with washing machine, WC and wash hand basin.

A separate walk-in cupboard is filled with children's books, games and even some small wellies to borrow during your visit.

The spacious and bright south-facing inner hall has seating for two - ideal for morning coffee in the sun, as the French doors open out onto the patio, while you plan your days out using the map on the wall.

Holiday Cottage - Bedrooms

Bedroom 1: ground floor bedroom with double bed in wooden bedframe, matching wardrobe and bedside cabinets, portable TV, en-suite bathroom with bath, WC and wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2: spacious room with twin pine beds, matching bedside cabinets and chest of drawers, fitted wardrobes along one wall, TV, wooden cot.

Bedroom 4: ground floor child's twin room which is not currently in use but available on request if 4 bedrooms are required.

Ground floor family bathroom: bath, separate hot water shower with small built in tiled shelf seat, WC, wash hand basin, shaver point.

Private narrow staircase leading to

Bedroom 3: double bed in pine bedframe, matching wardrobe and bedside cabinets, portable TV, sloping ceilings with Velux windows offering views over the surrounding countryside.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and initial supply of logs included.

Regret towels not provided.

Open accessed patio garden within the courtyard.

Private parking for two cars.

Children are welcome with cot, stairgate and high chair available.

Facilities also include:
