A semi-detached bungalow, adjoining the owners' house, on the edge of High Newton with ground floor bedroom and large private grassed garden to sit out in and enjoy watching the wildlife. Often described as a peaceful coastal village, High Newton has the best of all worlds - walking distance to a choice of beaches, the National Trust protected sand dunes with numerous footpaths to explore, birds and wildlife are always visible from the hide at Newton Pond Nature Reserve, a village pub close at hand, on a rural bus route and although popular in the high season certainly not commercialised!

Only 20 minutes drive from Alnwick, home to the Duke of Northumberland, visit Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden, Museum and the famous Barter Books second hand bookshop. Or leave the car behind for the day and walk a circular route along the coastal paths to Embleton, Dunstanburgh Castle and on to Craster - home of the famous Robson's Craster Kippers !

Entrance to the rear through porch into compact open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, with stripped wooden flooring, cream-coloured Shaker-style fitted kitchen units, electric cooker and hob with extractor hood, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge with ice box, table and four chairs, two sofas, flat screen wall mounted TV, Digi Box, electric fan heater and night storage heater.

Family bathroom with electric shower over bath, heated towel rail, wash hand basin and WC.

Cloak cupboard.

Bedroom 1: French-style white double bedframe with matching bedside cabinets, cream carpet, antique vases and curios adorn the room, wall of wardrobes, space for a cot, garden views, night storage heater, digital flat-screen TV. Small en-suite shower room with electric shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Stairs from living area to

Bedroom 2: twin beds, low sloping ceiling (5ft 10 at apex) with spot lighting, Velux windows overlooking the garden, night storage heater, TV with video, DVD and Digi-box.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

All night storage heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Feather duvets and pillows are provided, but hollow-fibre ones are available on request.

Large enclosed garden, mainly laid to lawn with mature trees and shrubs, garden furniture.

Private driveway parking.

Although children are welcome regret cot, high chair and stair gate are not available.
