A delightfully decorated semi-detached bungalow on the edge of a quiet residential area of this picturesque village.

Warkworth is a haven for holidaymakers, home to the dramatic Warkworth Castle, meandering river walks, boats for hire, hidden Hermitage, art and craft galleries, pubs, restaurants and eclectic shops - all within walking distance - not forgetting the glorious sandy beach only five minutes' drive away.

Well Cottage has, not surprisingly, an in-filled well in the grounds and enjoys a shared large enclosed lawn for outside games, separate allocated garden area with lawn, borders, garden seating and usually an array of garden birds. Enjoy the luxury of a variety of footpath walks in the area and treat yourselves to a choice of restaurants each evening, coming back to a cosy cottage.

Holiday Cottage - Single Storey Holiday Cottage

Two steps up through the front door to a porch with part-tiled walls, shoe rack and coat hanging, inner door to hall.

The open-plan L-shaped sitting/dining/kitchen areas have beamed ceilings and dimmer switches while recent refurbishment has added solid oak flooring to the hall, sitting and dining areas. The cosy sitting area has a log effect electric fire with remote control, allowing you to choose the setting to suit your mood, set in a feature fireplace within a feature brick wall, leather sofa and armchair, flatscreen Freeview TV and DVD player. The dining area has a table and four chairs and the kitchen area is fitted with wooden cupboards and equipped with electric cooker, ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

Holiday Cottage - Ground Floor Bedrooms


Bedroom 1: double bed, large wardrobe, matching cream-coloured decorative bedside cabinets and dressing tables, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, small en-suite shower room with WC and wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2: double bed in dark wood bedframe, matching large wardrobe, tallboy and bedside cabinets, wall-mounted flatscreen TV.

Family bathroom with separate electric shower, bath, wash hand basin and tiled floor.

Holiday Cottage - Facilities and Outside

Gas-fired central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Parking on the shared drive.

Allocated garden area with garden furniture and use of the shared enclosed grass garden for outdoor games.

Although children are welcome, regret cot and high chair are not available.
