We had a lovely stay at Sunnieside. Nice place and well equipped with everything we needed for our short break. Location good for town centre as we didn't have to drive anywhere. Was very handy for walking to pubs, shops and beaches. |

Our second stay at Sunnieside & just as good as our first. The cottage has everything you could possibly wish for, well equipped, clean, bedding & towels smelt beautiful. We lost our Beagle Winston in March but came this time with Harry & our new addition Toffee. Both dogs loved it on the beaches & walks so close to the cottage. We visited Kelso, Alnwick, Berwick, Spitall, Bamburgh, Amble and had a wonderful holiday. Sad to be leaving but will be back to what has become our favourite place. |

Our third visit to Sunnieside Square and definitely not the last. Perfect location for beaches & lovely walks locally, then for trips further afield. Visited the Scottish Borders for the first time - Kelso is a lovely town & well worth a look. Drove North for a bracing blustery walk around St Abbs Head and visited Berwick on the way back - a lovely town & great walks around the walls. We've all had a lovely week - the dogs have run for miles. Thanks for providing such a clean & comfortable place for us to stay. |

This is our second visit to the cottage, what can I say but beautiful, so quiet & cosy. Everything you need taken care off. We have enjoyed lovely walks with our dog Lucy & some nice meals in beer garden at The Ship Inn. Lovely fish & chips from Neptune's and the dog friendly room inside The Bamburgh Castle Inn is ideal on a damp rainy days. Lucy says thank you for her K9 pack, it was a nice surprise and she enjoyed her treats. Hoping to return again next year. PS - if you need anything for your dog whilst visiting, the pet shop in Seahouses is well equiped. |

Our 1st stay @ 1 Sunnieside Square, has been relaxing and enjoyable. The light airy well appointed cottage with it's delightful courtyard contributed greatly to the state of mind. The weather was glorious so we watered the plants and de-headed the lovely pansies!! Thank you - we certainly hope to return. |
David and Aileen Halstead - Huddersfield, Jul 2013
|
We've been coming to this part of Northumberland for the last 10-12 years (staying in B&B) so No1 Sunnieside Square has been a real "find". It's central yet quiet location was ideal for us as a base to do all the touristy things previously mentioned here. For those who like that sort of thing - a slog up to "Cheviot" makes a good day out. Kind weather has helped to make our stay here a memorable one. |
Jose & Brian Essex, Jul 2012
|
Once again we have enjoyed our stay at 1 Sunnieside Square. Comfortable as before. Taken trips to Craster, Preston Towers and Bamburgh. Hope to be back. Still very good meals at The Black Swan. Nice Pansies in garden area. |

Excellent cottage in the very best part of Seahouses. Good to see an active busy harbour. Made much use of Swallows smokery. Bamburgh Castle is an astonishing place and needs to be visited with Cragside to get the full picture of that amazing man William Armstrong. Lindisfarne Castle was very appealing and the Priory well documented. We had two bracing swims off the rocks in the bay south of Seahouses, watched by hundreds of birds. A long walk along the beautiful coastline from Beadnell to Dunstanburgh Castle and back. Excellent Grace Darling museum at Bamburgh. A delightful week |
Richard and Biddy Trahair, Jun 2011
|
Delightful cottage, really clean, tidy, and comfortable, lived up to our expectations, will recommend it highly. Lovely coastline, although weather really cold, bright and invigorating. Lots of good eating places would recommend Blacketts in Bamburgh for a lovely, leisurely lunch. We will be back. |
